By bringing paying customers who are part of the most powerful demographic (that’s YOU, mamas!) to businesses, we get crazy discounts. How does Juice in the City know what the most fun activities for moms in my area are (and get crazy-fun deals)?

Our sales force consists of moms in your local area - representatives of Juice in the City that are called Local Business Consultants (and, don’t let the formal name throw you, you can be one too!). These LBCs create lists of their favorite activities. Then they go out and get you incredible discounts so you can experience them too. (Oh and p.s. they also write hilarious stories about the crazy-fun activities for your reading pleasure, thank you very much!)

Why are you focused on moms? Do I have to be a mom to buy one? I’m a guy and I like your deals!

Hey, lots of moms like stuff dudes like, and vice versa. We invite you to buy away. We are focused on moms because we ARE moms. The Juice in the City founders are moms, and all of our salesmoms are moms. MOMS ROCK! (We like dads, kids and other humans too though).

On that note, who are you?

We are a small, nimble team of slightly nutty people, led by two nutty moms, working our asses off, so if you do have any problem whatsoever contact us. We care intensely about your experience and will jump to help you quickly.

How are you different from other daily deal sites?

Didn’t we just answer that? Just kidding.
1. Most daily deal sites target young singles; we target moms.
2. Most daily deal sites use a cold-calling sales force to dial and sell, sight unseen; we use local influential moms to identify "must-do" activities, source deals related to those activities, and to publicize those activities with widespread WOM marketing and crazy-fun content creation.

Purchasing a Deal

Do a certain number of people have to buy the deal in order for me to get it?

Most often not, you can buy the deal and get it right away. However, sometimes the deal will say "Need more buyers to unlock this deal". This means the deal is so good that we need a certain number of customers to buy it before anyone can get it. The number of customers needed to unlock the deal varies from deal to deal. By buying the deal and telling your friends, you help unlock it!

Can I buy a deal before it unlocks?

Certainly, by buying the deal, you are helping to unlock it! Make sure to tell your friends about the deal by clicking like, tweeting it, or sharing it by email to help unlock it.

What happens if the deal never unlocks?

If the deal never unlocks, we will not charge your credit card and will let you know.

I like today’s deal – how do I get it?

Just click “BUY” before the offer ends at midnight. We’ll charge your card and send you a link to print your JITC Deal Code.

Payment

Am I billed as soon as I buy a deal?

Yes.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diner’s Club.

Is Juice in the City safe?

Yes. Your credit card number is transmitted by SSL directly to a secure electronic vault. At no time is your credit card information stored on our servers.

Redeeming Vouchers

Do I need to use my deal the same day I buy it?

No. In fact most deals are only valid the day after you purchase it so you actually can’t use it the same day you buy it. The information on when you can redeem your deal will be printed on your voucher.

I bought a deal – how do I use it?

When you purchase a deal, you’ll receive an email with a link to sign in and print your JITC Deal Code. Normally, the following day, you may print it out and use your deal. The JITC Deal Code has redemption instructions included.

I bought a deal from an online business – how do I use it?

If you purchased a deal from an online business, you will receive an email confirmation of your purchase. When the deal code is ready, you will be able to see the code in your account under the My Deals tab. Some deals require additional processing time, so your deal code may not show up in your account right away. Your deal voucher will have a start date printed on it and will provide you instructions for how to redeem your deal online.

If I don’t use the full value of the deal in one visit, can I use the remainder later?

No. Unless otherwise stated there is no store credit or cash back for unused portion.

What happens if my deal code expires? I thought gift cards didn’t expire?

After the deal code has “expired” you can still get the equivalent value of services you paid from the vendor, you are just not guaranteed that specific deal. Check out the Terms of Sale for more details.

Can I combine my Juice in the City deal with other offers or specials?

No, not unless specifically stated otherwise on the JITC Deal Code.

Gifting

Can I give a Juice in the City deal as a gift?

Of course you can give a Juice in the City deal as a gift – your friend will love you for it! Just select the “Give this deal as a gift” option on the purchase page and fill in your gift recipient’s information. We will send an email confirmation to both you and the recipient. Sorry, but we aren’t able to remove the price of the deal from the voucher.

I gave a deal as a gift to someone and they didn't like it. Can I return it?

Unfortunately, no. We can't refund gift purchases. But you are welcome to use it for yourself!

I gave someone a gift and they never received the gift confirmation email / the link does not work.

If your friend is having trouble with the link in the gift confirmation email, or has trouble finding the email, the recipient can still access the gift without the email - all the recipient has to do is Sign Up on Juice in the City using the email address you sent the gift to. It's free and the recipient can unsubscribe at any time. Once the recipient is signed up and logged in, all they have to do is click "My Account" and they'll be able to view and access the deal.

Can I return a deal?

Yes, but it’s punishable by death. Just kidding. Check this out.

What if the business for my deal closes down?

If anything happens that makes it impossible for you to redeem your deal, we’ll make sure you get your money back.

Refer a Friend & Credits

If I refer a friend who buys a Juice in the City deal, what’s in it for me?

If one of your friends buys their first Juice in the City deal by clicking through to the site and purchasing directly through your personal referral link, you earn $10 credit toward Juice in the City deals! Those referral credits will be posted to your account and you can use them to buy Juice in the City deals. There is one exception: Juicy Deals. Juicy Deals are deals that are so sweet we’ve already given away the kitchen sink to offer them for you. Honestly. We’d be out on the street if we also awarded referral credits on Juicy Deals! Juicy deals will clearly have a juicy deal label on them so that you know that referral credits cannot be earned in connection with that deal.

Sometimes we give you the chance to refer a specific deal to friends to receive even more credit in your account. In these cases, a special promotion will appear on the deal page or on the purchase confirmation page, giving you the details of the promotion. The number of friends that need to purchase the deal and the amount of credit you get varies by offer. In order for you to receive the credit, each friend needs to click on the specific link you sent them (which includes your referrer code) and make a purchase at that time. After the minimum number of friends purchase the deal by clicking on your link, you'll be able to receive the credit, however, it may take up to a week to appear in your account. If the credit appears in your account while the deal is still available you can use it to purchase that deal, otherwise the credit can be used towards future purchases. Refunds count as a non-purchase and will not count towards the minimum number of purchases needed to receive credit.

Where do I find my unique referral link to share with friends and family

To access your Referral link at any time, simply sign in to your Juice in the City account, then click the tab that says "My Account." The red arrow is pointing at your Referral link that you can share with friends!

How can I share a deal?

Sharing a deal with friends and family is super easy. Look for the “Share this deal!” section on any deal page and select the option that works best for you (email the deal to your friends, or share it via Facebook, Twitter or Google +1). You can also share the deal after you’ve purchase it.

Promotion Codes

Why can't I enter a promotion code?

1. Does your order already have a discount? If you are unable to apply a promotion code, you might already have an email promotion applied to your order. Please check for messaging indicating if any of these promotions have already been applied.
2. Do you have a Juicy Deal in your order? Unfortunately, promotion codes cannot be applied to Juicy Deals.

Can I use more than one promotion code in my order?

Sorry, only one promotion code may be used per order.

Can I re-use my promotion code?

Promotion codes may not be used more than once by an individual.

Is my promotion code discount refundable?

No. Returning an item you purchased while using a promotion code is just like returning an item you purchased with a coupon in the store, or on sale in the store. If you request a refund you will receive any cash or credit that was used towards your purchase only. For example: If you buy a deal that costs $10.00 using a $5.00 special offer, and you've paid the additional $5.00 for the deal, the $5.00 billed to your credit card will be refunded to you. What is the difference between a promotion code discount and Juice in the City credit? Can they be combined?

A promotion code offer is a very limited-time discount on top of our already heavily discounted daily deal sales. Credit is earned by performing certain actions like referring others, and only expires once your account has been unused for a full year. Discounts from promotion codes are applied first and if you have existing credit it will only be applied to cover the remaining cost of the deal. Any credit not used upon a deal bought with a promotion code, will remain in your account.

Example:
Cost of Deal = $15.00
Your Promotion Code Discount = $5.00
Your JITC credit = $10.00
You pay: $0

Do promotion codes expire?

Yes, promotion codes can expire. Please refer to the promotion code details in the email and/or website from where you received the code.

How do I redeem my promotion code?

To claim your promotion code, simply enter it in the promotion code entry field on the order page. If the promotion code entered is valid, the discount will be automatically applied to your order.

Can I use a promo code on an order I already placed?

No. Sorry, promo codes are only good on new orders and may not be applied to previously placed orders.

Accounts

What is the difference between a Subscription and an Account?

A subscription means that you have added your email address to our mailing list in order to receive our daily emails. You do not have to have a Juice in the City account in order to subscribe. However, when purchase your first deal, you will be asked to create a Juice in the City account.

I forgot my password, how do I reset it?

Click here to reset your password. Enter the email address you signed up with we’ll send you an email with a link to reset your password.

How do I unsubscribe from the daily deal email list?

You can click on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of your daily email.

Juice Affiliate Program FAQs

What is the Juice Affiliate Program?

The Juice Affiliate Program offers you the ability to earn sales commission on all Juice in the City purchases referred by you.  Once you become an Affiliate you will be given a unique Affiliate referrer code, which enables us to track all purchases you generate.  There are a variety of ways for you to earn money as an Affiliate: by hosting the Juice widget on your blog or website, by embedding your referral code in a blog post or email, by tweeting about us, or posting to Facebook.  Anytime a user purchases a deal through your referral code you will earn a percentage of that sale.  You earn commission for every purchase transaction you refer to us!

What you will earn:
Standard Affiliates receive 10% for every purchase made through their Affiliate link plus a residual 10% on additional purchases made (for a 90 day period).

Does it cost anything to be an Affiliate?

Nope! Doesn’t cost you a dime, or even a penny. It’s free!

How do I get started?

Just fill out our Affiliate Application. Once you’ve been approved as an Affiliate, you’ll get an email from us with further instructions.

How do I make money?

You will be given an Affiliate link with a unique referrer code embedded. You can share this link anywhere, with anyone. If they click through it to purchase a deal on our site, you earn a percentage of that sale.

Do you have a widget that I can post on my blog or website?

Yes, we have several widgets in different sizes, all embedded with your unique referrer code. If anyone clicks through it to purchase a deal on our site, you earn a percentage of that sale.

Can I find out about your deals in advance?

You sure can! As a Juice Affiliate you will automatically be set up to receive our daily deal feed email. This email provides 24-hour advance notice of all of our deals. Plus, the deal link automatically has your unique referral code embedded for easy posting!

How to I track my Affiliate earnings?

You can always check your Earnings as well as other Affiliate Info by logging into your Juice in the City account and clicking “My Account.” From here, you’ll see the “My Affiliate Info” tab as well as “My Earnings” tab.

When will I be paid?

Standard Affiliates must meet a minimum threshold of $100 in order to receive payment. Once this threshold is met, Affiliates are paid on a 60-day net cycle.

How long does it take for my Affiliate earnings to show up in my account under “My Earnings”?

Earnings for the week are posted on Monday. The sales you generate are updated hourly. Subscriber referrals have a 7-day lag. To view your Affiliate earnings just click here:

We are a Deal Aggregator site. Do you provide an XML feed?

Sure do - once you are approved as an Affiliate, you will receive an email, which includes information on how to access our general XML feed. If this does not meet your needs just Contact Us and we’ll get you what you need!
