Steaks aside, customers are also delighted by gourmet American specialties like buffalo burgers, ostrich, baby back ribs, wings, fried mushrooms, chicken fingers, and fried shrimp. All of this is prepared and served with a great amount of attention to detail - they like to call it "Cooking with Love" – and the wait staff is known for their down home friendly demeanor and heartfelt willingness to go above and beyond. Although alcoholic beverages are not included with this deal, Cattleguard is known for their margaritas and other specialty drinks that pair perfectly with everything on the menu – except for the kid's meals, of course!

Cattleguard is a great restaurant! It's rustic, serves good food, and has a relaxed atmosphere. I am always greeted by the really nice staff and the owner is very welcoming, too. Sure, Cattleguard offers yummy baby back ribs and steaks, as well as unique items like ostrich and buffalo burgers, but you've got to try the bacon wrapped scallops. They are awesome!
